Austin is a scientific graphic designer and video animator at a local research facility. He create images that visually communicate science and a curiosity with our microscopic world. This work can been seen at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History's new exhibit "Outbreak" in Washington, D.C. Weekends and evenings might find him in Portland, the Hamilton Playhouse, or elsewhere in the community setting up sound and video systems, performing, or running a photo booth. Connections with co-workers and friends brought Austin to this TEDx scene.
"Once you have the pictures, you build the story around that." -
Jeffrey M. Drazen, M.D., Editor-in-Chief, New England Journal of Medicine.
